David L. Barker, CPA

David Barker is a Partner at Tidwell Group. He has over 32 years of experience in his areas of focus of accounting, auditing, tax and business valuations. His work with clients has included construction contractors, real estate construction and development, manufacturers, healthcare organizations and professionals, trucking companies, health and welfare organizations, not-for-profit organizations, automobile dealerships, professional service firms, and retail facilities among others. His real estate experience includes affordable housing including low income housing tax credits, HUD assisted projects, Rural Development projects, and cost certifications.

Barker assists clients in the areas of strategic planning, financial reporting, planning and performing audit engagements, partnership accounting and tax, and business valuations. Barker also works with business owners to ensure that they get current, timely and reliable financial data along with other relevant business information to enable owners to make more informed management decisions focusing on the future of their business.
