Careers: Campus Recruits

You’re unique, don’t get lost in the crowd! At Tidwell Group, you are not just another number. Our firm has structured its office culture to operate as a team. And we take great pride in that effort.

Why? We understand that working in an environment where you are one of thousands lends itself to not feeling relevant. We’ve been there, done that. Therefore, we believe in and support an open, collaborative work environment where each opinion is heard and valued. And Tidwell partners support this environment by coaching and mentoring all team members – those that are more seasoned as well as those opening their first career doors. How else is Tidwell Group different? We offer perks not found at many accounting firms including:

  • Flexible office hours
  • A flat organizational structure
  • A casual work attire dress code

Tidwell Group firmly believes in work-life integration and providing our professionals with a flexible work environment so that they are able to balance their personal and professional goals. We hope to meet you on campus and partner with you in your career at Tidwell Group.

First-Year Associates

As a growing firm, Tidwell Group provides excellent opportunities for college candidates looking for full-time employment at a top CPA firm. Each year we search for talented individuals from top universities to join our growing team. We actively recruit from certain top South East and Midwest universities and always welcome applicants from other universities to submit their resumes online. If you are interested in an exciting career with Tidwell Group, please look for us on campus, and we invite you to submit your resume online.

Interns

We value and embrace internships. A critical part of our success is tied to converting interns into full-time employees. We offer spring internships in our assurance and tax departments for 10-14 weeks commencing in January. We believe providing interns with an experience during busy season is financially rewarding and provides visibility into the peak time of our business cycle, and allows for a more rewarding and challenging experience. Interns work directly with our seasoned professionals on client engagements rather than being assigned “busy work.” The Tidwell internship experience provides valuable insight into the public accounting industry, gives interns real-world experience to apply to school knowledge, and affords the tools and resources needed to hit the ground running as a first-year associate upon college graduation.

Tidwell Group provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics. In addition to federal law requirements, Tidwell Group complies with applicable state and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment in every location in which the company has facilities. This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation, and training.
