William Brookshire is a Partner in Tidwell Group’s Birmingham office. He has over 15 years of experience providing audit, accounting, and tax services primarily for multifamily real estate owners, developers and contractors. His experience in the affordable housing industry includes low-income housing and historic tax credits, USDA Rural Development projects, HUD assisted projects, and final cost certifications.
Brookshire works closely with clients in planning, performing and supervising audit and assurance engagements. He also works as an advisor to businesses in the day-to-day accounting and operational challenges they face.
In addition to his focus in real estate, Brookshire also serves governmental entities, not-for-profits and various other small businesses. His previous experience includes working in the assurance group of a large national firm providing cost certification services for projects across the country.
