John M. Barr, CPA

Principal

John Barr is an Audit Principal in Tidwell Group’s Columbus office.  Barr has over 45 years of experience in the accounting industry primarily in public accounting, serving mostly clients in the affordable housing industry.  These clients include developers, property management companies, construction companies and asset management companies.

Barr has extensive experience related to HUD and Low Income Housing Tax Credit audit engagements. He consults with clients on tax credit questions, HUD inquiries as well as reporting and acts as an overall business advisor. He has spent his career providing high-quality client service and prides himself on meeting or exceeding client time deadlines.
