Mindy Reed is an Assurance Partner in Tidwell Group’s Birmingham office. She has over 18 years of experience in public accounting. She specializes in the construction and real estate industries, with an emphasis on construction contractors, including general contractors and specialty subcontractors, home builders, low-income housing tax credit projects, and HUD-assisted projects. Mindy also has extensive experience with employee benefit plans and required regulatory filings.
Mindy’s responsibilities at Tidwell Group include overall coordination, planning, performance, and supervision of audit, review, and compilation engagements and providing consulting and agreed-upon procedures services to clients in the previously specified industries. Additionally, Mindy plays a significant role in firm employee development and training, as well as recruiting, and manages the overall audit scheduling process for the Birmingham office.
Prior to joining Tidwell Group, Mindy was a senior manager at a large national public accounting firm for 16 years specializing in the construction, real estate, and employee benefit plan industries, as well as spent one year as a controller at an investment management company in Birmingham.
