Scott Reeves is a Partner in Tidwell Group’s Johns Creek office. He has more than 15 years of experience in public accounting, providing attestation and consulting services for both public and privately held clients. His vast knowledge and excellent client service have allowed him to provide accounting services for a variety of clients and he specializes in accounting issues impacting real estate clients, including non-profit clients.
Reeves works closely with clients in planning, performing, and supervising audit and assurance engagements, leading all aspects of the process. He has advised both publicly traded and privately held companies in a wide variety of sectors, including affordable housing, construction, private equity, real estate investment trusts, real estate syndicators, tax-credit and market-rate real estate investment funds, mortgage lenders, and not-for-profit entities.
Scott’s representative matters include serving as in charge of several engagements for not-for-profit development entities, including planning and executing both financial statement audits and single audits. Reeves previously worked for a national accounting firm as an audit manager, primarily in the commercial real estate sector.
In addition to providing quality and timely service to ensure client satisfaction, Scott is heavily involved in leadership initiatives for the firm and Johns Creek office. This includes overseeing firm and audit administration for the Johns Creek office, as well as being involved in recruiting and training initiatives for the firm.
