Sean Hutton is an Assurance Partner in the Columbus office of Tidwell Group. He has twelve years of experience in public accounting. Hutton’s expertise is primarily focused in commercial real estate and the affordable housing industry. He has led audits for a wide variety of affordable housing projects. His work with clients has included all aspects of real estate, from construction contractors, real estate developers, commercial and residential property owners and operators, senior housing, tax credit syndicators, and real investment funds. Hutton also has experience in healthcare and not-for-profit organizations.
Hutton’s expertise also includes cost certification audits, mortgagor, and tax credits. In addition, he supports the preparation of financial statements and electronic submissions to the Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC). Hutton received his Bachelor of Sciences degree in Accounting from Capital University and is licensed as a certified public accountant in Ohio. He serves as the Vice President for the Council for Rural Housing and Development in Ohio.
