Clint Hamilton is an Assurance Partner in Tidwell Group’s Atlanta office. He has eleven years of public accounting experience while primarily working with clients in the real estate industry throughout the United States. Within the real estate industry, Clint has significant experience with low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC), U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development (RD), and not-for-profit real estate entities.
Clint’s main area of focus has been HUD financed and subsidized real estate projects. He has developed expertise in reviewing these engagements and ensuring his clients are in compliance with applicable HUD requirements. His knowledge of the HUD industry allows him to provide valuable guidance to clients in the industry. Along with annual HUD audits, Clint has also worked on HUD cost certifications with several developers, advising them as they navigate through the challenges of the cost certification process.
Clint received his Bachelor’s degree and his Master’s of Accountancy degree from the University of Kentucky. Professional affiliations include membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of CPAs.
